Do you have a waiting list?
No - as of now, I still have spots available.

Do I need a referral?
No. You can contact me directly here.
Where do you work? Can you meet in person?
Yes! I work in person in my office in Amsterdam East (Meerhuizenplein 11), online, and at clients' homes.
Are sessions covered by health insurance?
Unfortunately not. If cost is a barrier, I try to keep a few spots open for lower cost options.
What does 'under supervision' mean?
Being under supervision means that I regularly meet with a registered and experienced NIP-psychologist to reflect on my work and how I can offer the best care possible. These meetings give me a space to reflect on my thoughts, challenge my own blind spots and biases, and stay honest about what might be influencing my perspective. Supervision is not about oversight — it’s about growth, accountability, and making sure I stay attuned to you and your experience. All supervision discussions are confidential and fully anonymized, so your privacy is always protected.
What if we're not the right match?
The connection between therapist and client is immensely important. If at any point you feel that our work together isn’t quite the right fit, I always welcome (and encourage) that conversation. We can explore what isn’t working and, if needed, I can suggest other professionals who may better match your needs or preferences.
I also recognize that factors like gender, ethnicity, or class can shape how safe or understood someone feels in therapy. Your perspective always comes first. I don’t avoid these conversations — I believe they’re part of what makes therapy real. Talking openly about difference can be uncomfortable at times, but it’s often where genuine understanding and trust starts.
Do you provide diagnoses or treatment plans?
I don’t offer formal diagnoses or medical treatment. If I believe diagnostic assessment or additional support might be helpful, I’ll discuss this openly and share suitable referrals or resources.
How do I pay for sessions?
Payments can be made via bank transfer after each session. If you prefer an invoice for your records, I can provide one.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are charged the full session fee, except in emergencies.
Can you come to my home?
Yes! While unconventional for some, home visits can reduce barriers for others. Meeting in a familiar environment can make it easier to settle in, feel grounded, and engage more openly. Some people find it comforting, or simply more practical.
Within Amsterdam, I offer at-home sessions for an additional fee to cover travel and time. For other cities or regions, we can discuss possibilities and adjust the rate based on travel distance.
At-home sessions are available after at least three online sessions together. This helps us build a working relationship and ensure the setting is suitable. For safety reasons, I always share my location with a colleague when doing home visits. I also reserve the right to decide that a home visit isn’t a good fit if it causes significant discomfort or feels unsafe.
If you have any other questions, you are always welcome to send me an email or book a free consultation.
